Poet Archives — CORE and FIRST WORD Collections

Poet Archives — CORE and FIRST WORD Collections

I have been building Poet Archives as a one-person streetwear label, and I want to share where we are now and what’s ahead. Running this brand solo means I design, manage production, handle the online shop, coordinate shoots, and pack orders — every step is personal. I feel incredibly lucky to have connected with talented models, photographers, and creatives who have helped bring our pieces to life, often trading time and skill for clothing. Those exchanges are the backbone of how we grow.

The CORE collection is where we pushed structure and color. It includes oversized hoodies, acid wash tees, shorts, joggers (not pictured), and for the first time a varsity jacket with a small chest logo and oversized back print. These pieces are deliberately bold and minimal at once — think big logo T-shirts and drop shoulder hoodies rendered in fresh pastel and neutral colorways. We experimented with new materials and different cuts to extend Poet Archives beyond tees and hoodies and into a fuller wardrobe.

First Word is equally close to my heart. The idea behind First Word is that it begins with a single choice — to start, to say something, to move. That philosophy runs through the collared striped sweatshirts, the contrast polo, the vintage wash boxy tee, shorts, and a 5-panel cap. These pieces lean into retro inspired cuts and stripe-driven structure for a look that works with layering or standing alone.

I want to say thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. To the models who shot in exchange for pieces, to the photographers who gave their time for lookbooks, to friends who tested samples, and to the customers who buy and share — your support is everything. Every tag, message, or photo of someone wearing Poet Archives is a reminder that this work is meaningful.

Looking forward, I am hopeful. I want to expand thoughtfully — more materials, more sizes, collaborations that stay true to our voice, and product styles that feel useful and honest. If you want to get involved as a model, photographer, or creative, please reach out. There’s room to grow and create together.

Shop the CORE and FIRST WORD collections now on the website and follow along while we keep building. Thank you for being part of Poet Archives.
